Hmm.
Another great episode has passed where I have more questions than answers.
Okay first off – I am really glad that Despa turned out to be somewhat reliable.
Judging from our first impression of him, I totally thought he was a scammer who was going to run off with Kage’s money. He was giving off heavy Instagram model vibes, for some reason to me.
Prince Despa as Bojji’s Trainer
I’m excited to see what the Despa Arts can do for Bojji, as he already learned how to dodge and read lips due to his training with Mitsumata the three-headed snake.
The training regimen Despa has Bojji under is shrouded in mystery – but whatever the case it seems to be working.
Reading in the study for a certain allotment of time, conditioning his body by running, engaging in controlled combat with animals, and then private lessons with Despa behind closed doors.
Whatever technique it is, it’s bypassing Bojji’s absence of strength in his body.

I wonder if the curse, or ‘deal’ Bosse (or Miranjo, because honestly who knows at this point) made with ((whoever)) is the reason Bojji is so weak.
Then presumably with Bosse’s line about killing another son… we can affirm this has all happened before.
A few episodes back, we were told that Bosse just happened to come across the town being pillaged, saved them, and erected a new kingdom.
Was Miranjo something that came with the castle?
Meaning – was there an old chamber from the previous monarchy under where the foundations of the castle were built and Bosse discovered it and made a deal with that entity?
Better yet, was that even King Bosse’s original body? Or that of his deceased first son?
Because otherwise, this just isn’t adding up yet.

I’m sure it will – the show has been great at tying up any potential loose ends – I just feel really anxious to watch the next episode. And the thing is – the Daida/Bosse reveal wasn’t even necessarily a cliffhanger.
We got this wholesome episode of Bojji training while Kage cleans, and all the while Kage (and us, the audience) are wondering if Despa is going to double-cross them.
Finally, the tension comes to a head when Kage is able to peer into the restricted training room and see that Bojji – a boy without strength – is spitting boulders.
Bojji also had four circular marks on his inner hand when Kage was tucking him into bed…what on earth is the weapon he picked?
It’s certainly nothing sharp, as he has PTSD with those items.
It has to be light, so that he can maneuver it – while making use of his borderline teleportation abilities…
Augh I’m so curious…but I think I’ll wrap this one up for now.
So, tell me your thoughts.

Do you think Bosse was in on the plan to revive him in Daida’s body?
Why did King Bosse even bother naming Bojji his successor if there was a possible plot to steal his body?
What on earth is the training regimen Despa has Bojji on?
