Well, that sucks.
On the one hand, I slightly feel bad for Miranjo. But on the other hand…she made a deal, a “promise” with a demon that had to be fulfilled no matter what.
And usually, when one makes a deal with demons, or the devil…it never ends well for the agreeing party.
It is unfortunate that Miranjo has had to experience so much suffering and sadness in her lifetime, but a part of me thinks it was self-imposed.
Remember when Bosse asked Miranjo if she had ‘finally’ come to her senses? I was unsure at first if Miranjo really did love Bosse, and if Bosse returned that affection…but this episode confirms both did have feelings for one another.
By Bosse’s logic, Miranjo did all of this out of her feelings for him?
By Miranjo’s logic, she has to ‘protect’ Bosse from anything bad happening…but was it always Miranjo’s intention to bring Bosse back?
Like…Miranjo really planned on using Daida (the replacement) from the very beginning…reading him bedtime stories, filling his head and ears with sweet nothings…just so that his father could take his place…and so that Miranjo could love Bosse in his own son’s body?
Did I interpret that right?

There was that scene of Bosse and Miranjo dancing in other people’s bodies (well, Bosse in Daida’s body, Miranjo in an automaton) and she remarked how happy she was…Ah, I don’t know.
That’s just weird to me.
So in the end, what was Miranjo’s real motivation? Love?
A love to help the man you adore succeed, and then the strength mixed with a magical madness to tear it all down when he forgets all about you?
Man, I don’t know…
But, what do you think about this? Tell me your thoughts.

Were you surprised Bojji beat Bosse within an inch of his life?
…that there was no ‘master plan’ for Bosse to hatch – it was just love?
