Long Story Short Official Trailer Debut and Season 2 Announcement
Long Story Short is a new animated comedy premiering on Netflix on August 22nd from the creator of BoJack Horseman. The official trailer for Long Story Short has dropped on YouTube in anticipation for the show’s debut.
A season two has been announced before the series premiere and creator Raphael Bob-Waksberg has been quoted saying “Wow!! A season two?! And season one hasn’t even come out yet! It must be a REALLY good show. I can’t wait to watch it when it premieres on Netflix, Friday, August 22! Let’s all do that!” in response to the good news.
About Long Story Short
Long Story Short is an animated comedy from the creator of BoJack Horseman about one family, over time. Jumping through the years, we follow the Schwooper siblings from childhood to adulthood and back again, chronicling their triumphs, disappointments, joys, and compromises.






Members of the show’s cast include: Lisa Edelstein as Naomi Schwartz, Paul Reiser as Elliott Cooper, Ben Feldman as Avi Schwooper, Abbi Jacobson as Shira Schwooper, Max Greenfield as Yoshi Schwooper, Angelique Cabral as Jen, Nicole Byer as Kendra Hooper, Dave Franco as recurring guest Danny Wegbreit, and Michaela Dietz as recurring guest Hannah Schwooper.
