Okay, so Klein takes care of Melissa and Benson so well because they are his only “anchors” in that strange world – even if they aren’t his real siblings and they have no clue that their true brother, the real Klein Moretti – is dead.

Lord of the Mysteries Episode 6 Review

I know Klein said that his divination showed him that Mr. Azik Eggers would not hurt him if he helped him recover his past and didn’t report him to the Nighthawks, but did anybody else feel like that situation was shady the entire time?

We got so much lore drop this episode, I don’t even know where to start. Actually, I do: with the Nighthawk Goddess.

Okay, so the title card screen detailed the epochs in their world.

The First Epoch, Age of Chaos mirrors our own world, where the gods created our world out of the waters of khaos I spoke about in the last review.

The Second Epoch, Dark Epoch sees the awakening of the Evernight Goddess – which I thought was Sophia Pistis at first, but after reconsideration now think it might be our equivalent to Ashera – the Goddess of Heaven.

(Not to confuse Ashera with Ishatar (“Ishtar”/Inanna/Astarte), the Queen of Heaven who also holds a similar title in our world.)

The Third Epoch – the 3rd world – Cataclysm Epoch would be modeled after our flood and the first great reset – with a subset of humans surviving the opening of windows of the heavens that poured out water to flood the earth, and those survivors thriving under the guidance of the gods.

The Fourth Epoch, the Epoch of the Gods seems like the “Game of Thrones” of eras old where the gods made their wagers and bet on their human avatar’s fates and tried to initiate their will throughout their chosen domains (or countries).

Then we have The Fifth Epoch, Iron Age which must be what Klein’s lived world currently is, or our modern-era Age of Industry in the late 1800s early 1920s.

Pivoting back to Azik Eggers, I guess whoever brought Klein to this world is the one responsible for cutting his son Teno’s head off in his previous life. I think Azik was able to pinpoint the ritual to 3 months prior – is that how long Zhou has been living as Klein?

Was it The True Creator (the Hanged Man god) who did this – as per the invisible feather drop at Lamud Castle after Azik’s memories are restored? Or another unseen entity entirely? Or is it the actual Evernight Goddess, as Elizabeth was the one who lead them there (whom the Evernight Goddess protected previously) and Klein’s Hornacis visions are related to the Goddess’ ancient civilization and cult center in a prior epoch.

Also, what does the Eternal Blazing Sun deity have to do with all of this?

Klein used a clairsentience divination on the sacred sun emblem from Intis (between the Hornacis Mountain Range and Loen), watched the priest who captured a “drop of the deity’s blood” disintegrate from its intensity during the encounter, had an actual encounter with said deity, decides to stare directly at a literal sun deity, and then Klein has the nerve to be surprised that he is burned after the Grey Fog saves him.

The Elemental Blazing Sun rewards Klein’s survival with a sequence 4 potion: Unshadowed formula and advises him not to look at a deity (as Dunn accidentally did) – but I’m wondering who instructed the Grey Fog to even save Klein?

Klein is acutely aware of the “chaotic” energy present that controls the Grey Fog while in the astral realm, but who could it be? It couldn’t be the aforementioned chief Demoness of the Demoness Sect, could it?
