Long Story Short is an adult animated comedy series currently available to stream on Netflix.

Set over the course of decades, Long Story Short follows the Schwooper siblings Avi, Shira, and Yoshi from childhood through adulthood chronicling their struggles, joys, and various triumphs as a family. Stemming from the creative mind of Raphael Bob-Waksberg (BoJack Horseman), the animated series has already been greenlit for a Season 2 by Netflix.

Long Story Short‘s production reunited the BoJack Horseman team. Lisa Hanawalt is the supervising producer, while Noel Bright and Steven A. Cohen served as executive producers for Tornante Television. Corey Campodonico and Alex Bulkley also serve as co-executive producers from animation studio ShadowMachine.
Bob-Waksberg was quoted by Netflix at the time of the animated series’ announcement remarking “It is legitimately a thrill and an honor to be back doing what I love most: drafting enthusiastic pull quotes for press releases to Hollywood trade publications. Who says you can’t go home again?!”.
Long Story Short began streaming August 22nd on Netflix.
