Comic Art Fans is the world’s premier website serving comic book and narrative art collectors, auction houses, artists, art dealers, and artist representatives. Comic Art Fans (CAF) has announced a new version of their deCAF mobile app, and is introducing ART SCOUT, “the most powerful web crawler ever offered”.
Art Scout: The Global Web Crawler for Original Comic Art Sales
Each month, CAF has 15,000+ active users and 400,000+ visits from nearly 200,000 visitors that generate 3,000,000+ page views. Collectors can easily set up free or premium galleries through their website, and find over 1,000,000 pieces of art posted by collectors and artists in their galleries and personal classifieds. In addition to 100k+ of art pieces from art dealers and art representative websites with traffic from the United States, France, Canada, Italy, the UK, Spain, and more.
CAF is introducing ART SCOUT, the most powerful web crawler offered and designed to be a personal 24/7 global monitoring assistant that seeks and identifies newly posted art sales that match users’ CAF Want List Keywords. ART SCOUT’s launch has included 147 international websites and is expanding to nearly 200 sites in January 2026, set to cover almost 350,000 pieces of art up for sale.

Roadmap: Integrating the deCAF App with the CAF Marketplace and Events
“Our deCAF v2.1 update is just the beginning of us incorporating powerful tools and features that will be invaluable to collectors, artists, art reps, and dealers,” said Bill Cox, Chief Content Officer of CAF.
“Our developmental roadmap includes complete functionality with our soon to be launched marketplace, as well as our calendar of produced events, such as the Original Art Expo (OAX), Comic Art LIVE (CAL) virtual art conventions, and Indie Comics Creator Con (IC3). For now, especially for CAF Premium Members, make sure to download the deCAF app and get your want list keywords updated in time for our November 15-16 CAL event.”
Using ART SCOUT, there is no garbage or filler – only tailored results to search requests. It is a dynamic product that will be proactively expanded and maintained, which will greatly benefit from the active, international CAF community comprised of artists, art reps, art dealers, collectors and auction houses who will be invited to submit requests for new sites, and art sellers to be included.
