I had dental work done

Happy Halloween! Day 22 – Day 30. Talking about my recent dental work, ending the 31 Days of October challenge, and what will be on this website going forward into November.

Hey Everyone!

Sorry I wasn’t able to complete the 31 days of October challenge, despite really wanting to.

I’ve been at the dentist maybe twice in the past two weeks. The first time I had a minor filling done, and experienced pain afterward. It was bearable, and I was still continuing to write daily.

As I got closer to my next anticipated visit, I started to get depressed. One night I couldn’t sleep because I was dreading the work, and actually stayed up to watch fifteen episodes of Dr. Stone in one sitting. It’s a really good show! I wish I’d given it a chance earlier and under better circumstances.

Anyway, yesterday I had to go back and have a procedure I was dreading done.

The last time I had a cavity was when I was in middle school. Needless to say, I wasn’t very happy about all of this.

I should have prepared more material to finish out this challenge, especially since I knew a week in advance I might be out of commission for a few days. But again…I was just depressed. I didn’t want to do anything and just stayed in bed most of the day during that week leading up to this work.

I just watched episode three of Hoshiai no Sora, so hopefully I can get that review up. I still don’t know if I want to review the entire series, but I’m enjoying it so far and it seems like you all are too. So it’s still something fun to talk about. ☺

I also have to catch up on Mugen no Juunin, I think I am three episodes behind now.

So, I’ll work on those and try to get caught up over the next few days.

Despite not finishing it properly, the challenge has been a lot of fun! I truly respect daily bloggers – and also wonder how they do it.

I’m going to end this post here. I’ve been getting bad headaches and I feel kind of sick to my stomach because I can’t really chew to eat anything. The day after tomorrow I’m going to go to the supermarket and purchase soft foods. I have a juicer, so now would be a great time to use the recipes I collected over the summer to make sure my body doesn’t get sick from lack of nutrients.

Thank you all for reading my daily posts during this month of October! November will resume my regular schedule of posting once a week, in addition to the ongoing anime shows I am covering.

We are almost at the close of 2019. Looking back, this year has been fruitful and I am thankful to have begun the journey that is this website. I don’t know where I’ll be in 2020, or where things will take me – but I am excited for the ride.

Thank you again, everyone!

I write in my personal time and I haven't published much at all. I don't know if that qualifies me as a writer or not, but I'd like to change that. I have a deep passion for travel, cinema and (mainly) East Asian things, but I plan on writing various things to keep it spicy. Let's prosper together ~ よろしくおねがいします。
