For Those Who Would Listen.

Let’s address the elephant in the room.

So I just wanted to make a quick post, where I say a lot and nothing at all. It’s been weighing on my mind, and maybe if you come across this post – you’ll understand. If you don’t, that’s okay, too.

There is a certain pandemic currently ravaging our earth. I won’t name it once in this post, because the word itself and all its iterations are being censored on YouTube, Social Media and other mediums.

I watch a lot of vloggers and read blogs from those currently living, working, and studying abroad in Asia. I’ve been waiting for them to speak on this particular global affliction, and finally they have.

Sometimes it’s been a trickle, but lately the information surrounding this ‘thing’ is overflowing.

I’ve been coming across Twitter feeds in nothing but Chinese with videos from WeChat and Weibo. There are those that say these are fake.

I’ve come across the same videos, translated by Chinese journalists who are also listing official news reports to correlate the info.

There are those that say these are fake.

I read that infamous Reddit post currently archived on the /nosleep sub. Is it a short horror story forum? Yes. Would the story have been taken seriously if it hadn’t been posted there? No.

Is it true? Who am I to say.

All I will say is that the subreddit is currently shut down.

All I will say is that not every single video can be untrue.

That the official videos run on foreign media from those on the ground at this plague’s ground zero look like something straight out of The Last of Us.

These videos look like every single horror-plague-outbreak game you’ve ever set eyes on in your lifetime.

Then there’s the videos of state agents welding and quite literally locking people into their apartments and homes.

Along with that infamous Reddit post, there was a nighttime video of those locked up in those apartments. Nothing but screams into the darkness. Remembering what was said in that post, if it is to be believed, is kind of scary to be honest.

So I will not leave any links to videos other than the one I already have. Excuse my bluntness but, if you know what’s up you know what’s up.

If you don’t…I don’t know what to tell you.

But I won’t be talking about, covering, or even mentioning what I just mentioned in this above post. I am going to keep posting as if everything were right with the world. Because in all honestly, nothing can be done at this point and it’s become a waiting game.

I have a ton of books to get through anyway, should the need arise to not go out for quite some time. If you are squeamish of ordering things online at this current time I would not hold it against you, but if you are not here’s something that might be good to have:
