Is Takemichi ever going to learn how to fight?
I mean damn it man, I wanted to punch my computer screen.
Yes, Takemitchy went through trauma, and Kiyomasa (not Kiyomizu like the wiki says? Even though I can clearly hear Kiyomasa?) did make his middle school life hell but…Takemichi isn’t a loser anymore.
Sorry for putting that so bluntly. But he’s changed.
It’s time to stand up to the goon squad!
Admittedly though, I do understand that Takemitchy was outnumbered at the shrine. (Plus, he has PTSD from his alternate past situations.)
Even if he did fight back, he probably would not have won. But to see him make so many strides, and come such a long way in such a short time…to grovel at the feet of, and apologize to those losers made me mad.
I mean really…you’re still going to let them treat you like that?
WHEN YOU’RE NOW “BUDDIES” WITH ESSENTIALLY THE TWO LEADERS OF TOMAN?
Give me a break, man.

Other than that though, it was a lovely episode!
I’m glad Hina and Takemitchy got their little festival date – it was cute.
I feel bad for Emma not making any progress with Draken, but he seems pretty dense and focused on Toman so…they’ll get there.
Eventually.
I hope. Haha.
Ahh. I’m excited for the next episode.
I’m really enjoying the pacing of this show.
So it was freaking Pah-chin being the root of the infighting conflict for Toman 12 years ago. And Peh-yan (and now Kiyomasa?) are being put up to some scheme by Moebius.
As I said in my last review – can’t we just throw Pah-chin away?
Especially since he already decided to throw his own life out. Ha.
(I’m not making light of the situation but seriously – who brings a knife to a fist fight? Only cowards, that’s who. Akkun was going to stab Kiyomasa because he was a coward, and Kiyomasa was going to beat Takemitchy with a baseball bat because he IS a coward.)
It’s nice that the Peanut Gallery is safe, though.
It was an inopportune moment, but I’m glad Yamagishi came through with that intel. Takemitchy’s original friend group weren’t really fighters, anyway.
(Takemitchy seems like he was built just to take a few punches, though.)
I think staying on the sidelines and being normal middle school kids is what suits them best.

But, tell me your thoughts.
Will Mitsuya and Takemichi save Draken?
Is Takemitchy planning on returning to the present after this incident finishes?
And…
What if Takemichi returns to his main timeline, and never time travels again after saving Hinata ?
