I’m sorry – but did it really take the chief snake himself Obama to make people realize that predictive programming is a very real thing? And it always has been?
White Noise preceding the Ohio trail derailment by at least 6 months (and I’m being generous) wasn’t enough?
Soylent Green trying to tell you about where all of the missing children our ‘government’ traffics wind up, the WEF saying we will all ‘eat bugs’, bugs being slowly introduced into our food supply, and literal companies disclosing their (alleged) use of Hek93?
Minority Report and Psycho Pass weren’t enough to let you know about our increasing shift to a surveillance state and the genetic modifications on a cellular level causing tyranny that allows people to be controlled by digital currency? CBDC has currently been implemented in places in the states and Europe already.
Black Mirror? The Tesla cars in Leave the World Behind advertise the digital kill-switches that already exist that can remotely hack and shut down your vehicle at any time? Mr. Robot, anyone? The IOT that allows your devices to communicate effortlessly through your WIFI without your knowledge?
Hello?
The 2018 Korean miniseries Exit talks about humans being used for experimentation in a digital world and then ‘scraped’ when no longer useful – while their mind is still trapped in the game? Like that one episode of Black Mirror. Like Sword Art Online. Like Accel World. Like Ready Player One. Like the Matrix. Like…etc.
A literal manmade catastrophe and vaccines that kill like the Kdrama Black Knight. Utopia. Amongst many others.
Like I could keep going, but I have been physically sickened by the stupidity I’ve witnessed over the last few days concerning this damn Leave the World Behind movie coming out.
I’m sorry – maybe it’s because I went film school, worked in the industry, had the gambit of requesting and viewing any ‘banned’ piece of media I wanted whenever I wished, and knowing the actual history and folklore from the ‘restricted’ and ‘unlisted’ sections of most libraries that I was never surprised by the amount of truth shown in movies.
But, I thought most people had a basic understanding of this.
Mankind continues to disappoint and prove that it’s not worth saving.
