JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is an epic saga spanning generations that chronicles the bloodline and shared destiny of the Joestar family that all began with a fateful encounter between Jonathan Joestar and Dio Brando, set in Victorian England.

The series’ one-of-a-kind universe has garnered reverent support across the world by fans and culminated in over 120 million copies sold of the manga. The unique character poses, innovative onomatopoeia, and unforgettable dialogue have come to symbolize the series’ originality and cemented its place in popular culture.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure’s popularity has led to an array of adaptations spanning different mediums within anime, games, musicals, and even live-action films. The ninth part of the manga series, The JOJOLands, is currently being serialized in Ultra Jump.

Steel Ball Run Comes to Netflix

The Steel Ball Run anime is a story set in 19th century North America and chronicles the first-ever cross-continental horse race. The protagonist is Johnny Joestar, a former genius jockey who is now a paraplegic. Forming an alliance with the mysterious outlaw Gyro Zeppeli, the two embark on a grueling race across the continent together.

  1. Yes! I remember when Part 6 came out and someone told me they wouldnt do Jolyne because of how the manga starts. I simply asked, why they thought that would happen, and his response was they would just skip over it because it wasn’t important. That’s interesting for other reasons, but I love this show/manga so much. Indeed. A cultural icon.

    1. Yes, definitely! I’ve only seen earlier seasons so I really need to catch up, but its had such an impact on the animanga world – I had to put some respect on JoJos name 😊

      (I thought people liked Jolyne’s character? I never heard bad things about her or that she was boring/unimportant. Maybe that guy was just a hater?)

        We only going up from here, but I am sad we only have one more part.

      2. Maybe there will be more, or another spin-off or movie somewhere along the way? The series is too popular to just have one more part. That’d be a little bit sad, honestly.
