Netflix’s spring anime slate for 2026 includes fan favorites like Blue Lock, Blue Box, Baki-Dou, Dandelion, and Steel Ball Run JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure 2nd STAGE coming to the streaming giant’s platform this spring.
With more than half of Netflix’s current subscribers watching anime, there’s something for everyone – whether you’re a casual viewer, a die-hard fan, or just discovering the creative medium.
The streaming platform is introducing anime to an international audience, making films and series available to fans in 33 languages and offering audio descriptions. From fantasy, comedy, to drama, romance, and action – Netflix is the home for anime audiences.
Here’s what’s coming to Netflix this spring:
The Titans Return: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure & Baki-Dou Lead the Charge
The highly anticipated anime adaptation of the seventh part of Hirohiko Araki’s JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure manga series, Steel Ball Run 1st STAGE, has premiered, leaving fans wondering when the 2nd STAGE will drop.
Well, for now all we know is that it will continue this year, in 2026 so far…
Steel Ball Run is set in the late 19th century and follows Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli across the “Devil’s Palm”, a desert spanning roughly 750 miles. As the duo press forward into the 2nd STAGE, ominous incidents begin to unfold during the race, forcing countless hidden motives to collide.

BAKI-DOU: The Invincible Samurai Part 2 has been announced with a new teaser trailer and key visual. The series will continue the life-or-death battles between the strongest underground fighters and the resurrected legendary swordsman, Musashi Miyamoto.

The underground arena is about to face its greatest threat yet in Baki-Dou: The Invincible Samurai — Musashi Miyamoto vs. Baki Hanma on Netflix. We dive deep into how the resurrected legendary swordsman changes the power scaling for Baki and his allies.
Netflix Exclusives: Blue Box, Dandelion, and Kyoto Animation’s Return
Kouji Miura’s popular romance and sports manga Blue Box will receive a second anime season and stream exclusively on Netflix starting this October.
Season two follows Taiki and Chinatsu as they gradually grow closer, as viewers can look forward to the subtle nuance of character expressions that mirror inner emotions, alongside memorable spoken lines. Chinatsu will encounter a new character who says unsettling words that make the early part of the story “especially compelling” to viewers.

Gintama creator Hideaki Sorachi’s one-shot manga Dandelion will receive an anime adaptation that is set to premiere on April 16th. The trailer released follows angels working at The Japanese Angel Federation’s Send-Off Department, as they search for restless spirits unable to pass on, and work tirelessly to guide them to rest in the afterlife. The series promises a heartfelt tone with a story that will make audiences both laugh and cry.

Sparks of Tomorrow: Kyoto Animation’s 20th Century Electrical Catalog Adaptation
Kyoto Animation’s Sparks of Tomorrow is set to premiere on July 5th, with Netflix revealing the main trailer and a new key visual.
Based on the light novel 20 Seiki Denki Mokuroku by Hiro Yuki, the story follows Kihachi Sakamoto and Inako Momokawa on their quest to bring about an “age of electricity” in a world still yet shrouded in the smoke of the past age after a discovery of the mysterious “20th Century Electrical Catalog”.

BEASTARS Final Season Part 2 released a first look at images ahead of the “Tiny Light” ending theme performed by SEVENTEEN. The music video showcases the emotional experience of Legoshi, Haru, and other characters with the song. The animation shown in the video was specifically created for its release, and even features characters inspired by SEVENTEEN.
