I had the opportunity to attend The Toy Insider’s Sweet Suite 2026 this past July, and I experienced a plethora of amazing toys, games, collectibles, and more great things on display that (are, and) will soon be hitting shelves.
Step Inside The Rip Stop: Kayou x The Toy Insider at Sweet Suite 2026
While I’m finishing up the other articles that cover different segments of this massive media event (honestly, I take way too many videos and photos, which makes it hard to narrow down each article’s tone since I don’t want them to be 20+ pages…), I wanted to dedicate a stand-alone article to The Rip Stop, presented by Kayou and The Toy Insider.
At The Rip Stop, attendees could find packs to sample from Kayou’s K-Pop Demon Hunters, My Little Pony, and Naruto card collections.
The booth countertop was large, and visitors were encouraged to “rip” their packs underneath the circle light with an adjoining holder for your phone. Since I opened the two packs I chose on video, I have limited individual shots of the cards during the event.
(I did take a few photos when I arrived back home, which I’ll include here, as well.)

Here’s what I received from each pack:
K-Pop Demon Hunters Collectible Trading Cards Classic Edition (5 Cards)
- 1 SR ‘Demon’
- 1 SSR ‘Baby’ (Soda Pop Costume)
- 2 R for ‘Stage Ready’ and ‘Bathhouse’
- The crown jewel of this pack opening: 1 ZR ‘Rumi’
The attendant at The Rip Stop was really happy for me when I pulled the ZR card, and even gave me a clear card protector for it. Believing I may be on a lucky streak, I was asked if I wanted to open one more pack, and I agreed, deciding to try out MLP next.

Again, I received genuine excitement over my pulls from the booth attendant (especially for the Transparent Golden Rare card), and I received an impromptu demonstration on how the transparent and base cards could be mixed and matched with other cards in this collection.
While I do find all of the Kayou card collections that I’ve had the chance to open beautiful, I really do love all of the stylistic artwork and textures featured in the MLP collection. Other card collections do have unique features, but I couldn’t help tilting these cards under the circle light to find hidden holographic and textural designs not immediately visible during the initial pull.
I noticed a line was gathering behind me for their chance to open packs, and decided to explore the rest of the event after placing my newly acquired cards in my bag.
Towards the end of Sweet Suite, I noticed that a lot of exhibitors were offering attendees samples of their displays to take home. I walked the entire length of the floor, chatting with select representatives and snapping last-minute photos here and there of booths I initially missed, until I reached The Rip Shop’s corner, again.
I asked if I could take samples home, and once I received permission, I grabbed one of each pack to review later on. Here are the full details for each sample pack and what cards I pulled:
Naruto Smriti Collectible Cards (Earth Scroll Series 1)
Naruto Smriti Collectible Cards Earth Scroll Series 1 (8 Cards)
This Naruto collectible card series has 8 different rarity tiers (CR, AR, UR, SR, SP, MR, SSR, and R) with 131 types of cards. A carton contains 24 boxes, and in each box there are 20 packs, with individual packs containing 8 cards.
The appearance probability is 4:20 with 3R+2SR+1SSR+2UR and 16:20 with 3R+2SR+1SSR+1UR/MR/SP/AR/CR+1SSR/SR. Production ratio is based on a single pack.
I received:
- 4 SR cards for ‘Yashamaru’, ‘Hinata Hyuga’, ‘Kankuro’ and ‘Shino Aburame’, respectively.
- 4 R cards for ‘Bushy Brow’s Jutsu: Sasuke Style 3/6’, ‘A Feeling of Yearning, A Flower Full of Hope 5/5’, ‘A Mistake from the Past: A Face Revealed! 2/3’, and ‘A Mistake from the Past: A Face Revealed! 1/3’.
Which gives me 2/3 of the ‘A Mistake from the Past…’ cards in a single pack opening.
What’s cool about the Earth Scroll Series 1 pack is that all shinobi generations are involved in this card collection. So, there are characters cards with Team 7 and scenes from the Chunin Exams from the original Naruto series, the aged-up character designs from Naruto Shippuden, and the adult characters and their kids from Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.

A carton (Version A) contains 48 boxes, with 20 packs per box, and 5 cards per pack. The appearance probability is 10:20 with 1BASE+1ST+1TR/TGR+1SR+1FR and 10:20 with 1BASE+1ST+1TR/TGR+1R+1USR/XR. Production ratio is based on a single pack.
I received:
- 1 SR ‘Spike’
- 1 ST ‘Pinkie Pie’
- 1 FR ‘Princess Twilight Sparkle’
- 1 TGR ‘Pinkie Pie’
- 1 Base Card for ‘AppleJack’s Classroom’
While I’ve historically not been a huge fan of MLP (aside from being aware of the general lore and liking Pegasus creatures from mythology), these cards really make me want to be a part of the fandom. The designs are so cozy and nice, and they are very reminiscent of illustrations from an old fairytale book (with a pop-culture twist).

I received:
- 1 HR ‘Demon’
- 1 SR ‘Abby’
- 1 SSR ‘Zoey’
- 2 R Cards for ‘Golden Music Video’ and ‘Crying Demon’
I always seem to pull a good balance of Demon, Hunter, and Saja Boy cards in each pack.

Final Impressions: Why Kayou’s Cards Are Worth Collecting
Overall, I enjoyed my time at Kayou x PopInsider’s The Rip Stop at Sweet Suite, and I’m glad that I got to add two new series to my review collection. What makes Kayou collectible cards stand out in today’s hobby market is their premium production quality – from multi-textured foil accents and clear overlay cards to expansive rarity tiers that keep every pack opening exciting.
